LongNeck here to provide you with some cool facts about dinosaurs! You see i'm pretty well known for having useless information and for my intense love of Dinosaurs so today i'm posting 10 facts about them hope you enjoy the combo of my two passions!
1: The Guanlong was believed to be the ancestor of the Tyrannosaurus but was less than half its size.
2: Nearly all Jurassic carnivores had three claws on each arm and leg.
3: The Megalosaurus was the first dinosaur to be given a name.
4: The 42 ft. Carcharodontosaurus was actually very light due to its hollow bird-like bones.
5: When the first fossil of Bradycneme was discovered in Romania they thought it was the fossil of an owl.
6: The Therizinosaurus had very long claws thought to be used for digging and combat.
7: The Supersaurus was at least 100 ft. long.
8: The Ankylosaurus was the largest armored dinosaur at around 36 ft.
9: The Anatotitan is considered the funniest looking dinosaur because of its duck-like face.
10: A large majority of dinosaurs had bird-like beaks!
And that is that by the way my favorite dinosaur is the Therizinosaurus a herbivore from the Mesozoic and Cretaceous periods that sood at around 33 ft. had a long neck and very long sharp claws. It was discovered in Kazakhstan. It is also why my name is LongNeck! See ya around.
