I know the series techinicall started on the sega saturn. But it didn't become popular until the ps1 version came out. I know I played it many hours Especially Resident Evil 3. Which is still my favorite resident evil.

I feel as if they have abandoned their true roots with modern day resident evil titles, i love all of resident evil (pre 5) 4 was pretty good, even though it was completely different, Resident Evil 5 kind of saddened me a little bit.

I loved resident evil 5 I believe they did a good job but I wish they would go back to the way Resident evil was, I don't really like the worms or whatever they are using to make people zombie like. Since they are not really zombies now.

I wouldn't say their zombie like either they throw things at you and come runnin with axes and crap like that so thats just not resident evil to me
